Caribbean Dreamin'
A warm breeze blows among the trees
As sunlight dances across the sea.
Endless, blue and glistening.
The sun shines hot upon my skin.
Waves lap the shore where ocean ends.
On a sandy beach life begins.
The scent of sea and coconut oil
Paradise found, fresh and unspoiled.
Free of worry, free of toil.
On water pure and void of boats
A piece of driftwood bobs afloat.
This place forgotten and remote.
A seagull glides through a cloudless sky.
The hammock creaks and I breathe a sigh,
Then raise a toast to this tropical isle,
As I close my eyes with a contented smile.
